I myself have been involved with astronomy for over 35 years and have been in the telescope sales business in one way or another since 1983 where I first started building several very small planetarium projectors along with working in the telescope retail industry. Then along in 1991 I began to design and build 3" F/15 and 6" F/15 refracting telescopes. Having retired somewhat from the business I have focused on my own observatory project but maintain this business to serve the astronomy community. Since 2008 our business has branched as a support center for small business with NUORV. Our main focus is our project in becoming an Internet Service Provider "Family Net" For the telescope business a lot has changed over the years. A good telescope can be expensive so you should do as much research as possible and compare different telescopes of different types.
